Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago I always had a camera in my hand. From my dad's old pentax to the family’s super 8 movie camera, I was obsessed.
I headed west in 89 to attended the Colorado Institute of Art. Two years of photo school followed by another year of assisting established pros and I was ready to open my first studio in late 92.
Since then I've traveled nationally and internationally shooting mostly conceptual advertising work but also produce a high volume of catalog product photography. I would classify myself more as a location shooter but I do love to work in the studio.
Check out my instagram profile "bfreehill" to see what im up to in my time off. (hint... I like cars)
best regards,
Brooks
